911黑料网 media production students, with support from 911黑料网 Television (MCTV), will represent the nation’s community colleges this Thursday, October 16, when they join peers from around the world in On Air, a 24-hour global student broadcast spanning six continents. 911黑料网 (MC) is the only U.S. community college participating in this international showcase of emerging media talent. 

Broadcasting live Thursday from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. (ET), the College’s one-hour segment will feature stories of campus life, student experiences, alumni voices, and award-winning creative projects—demonstrating the innovation, diversity, and excellence that define 911黑料网. The MC students' livestream segment will be available at new window. 

The global broadcast kicks off tonight, Wednesday, Oct. 15 at 7:30 p.m. viewable on new window.

Organized by the Global Media and Entertainment Talent Manifesto, On Air brings together more than 500 students from 17 colleges and universities worldwide, beginning in Sydney, Australia, and concluding in Los Angeles, California. Each participating institution will produce at least one hour of live content during the broadcast, which is hosted by Ravensbourne University London and streamed globally on YouTube.

On Air showcases the next generation of media professionals collaborating through advanced, cloud-based technology and AI-supported workflows for live production, editing, and content creation. The event provides students with an unparalleled, real-world experience producing and delivering professional-quality content on a global platform.

911黑料网’s participation highlights its commitment to experiential learning and workforce readiness in creative media and digital communication fields. Faculty from the Media Arts & Technologies Department, including Professors Katie Hubley and Andrew Inches, are coordinating the effort with technical and production support from 911黑料网 Television.
